ICT Officer, End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography, and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes (ECPAT International), Thailand

Anjan Bose works for International End Child Prostitution Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes (ECPAT), a global network dedicated to eliminating the commercial sexual exploitation of children. As ICT officer, he is responsible for the program on protecting children from exploitation through ICTs in cyberspace. In addition to supervising the IT division at ECPAT’s International Secretariat, he has been involved with the work of various ECPAT groups for the last seven years, providing support on technical matters and in relation to the cyberspace program. He is also the organization’s lead contact for any issues related to child safety on the Internet.

Mr. Bose has contributed to and attended significant global meetings as a panelist, designed and facilitated workshops and trainings on Internet safety, and liaised with key partners. He has a strong interest in the field of technology as it relates to children and passionately strives to safeguard the environment in which young people interact.

Mr. Bose started his career as a computer professional working with various corporate entities and heading a technical support team in India.
