Coordinator, Youth Protection Roundtable

Jutta Croll has worked as a researcher in several projects concerning the use of media and digital literacy. In 2000, together with Herbert Kubicek, she organized the first international conference on digital divide issues in Germany, “Stepping Stones into the Digital World”. In March 2001, also with Mr. Kubicek, she worked on the establishment of the German Digital Divide Network at the University of Bremen.

Digital Opportunities Foundation is the coordinator of the Youth Protection Roundtable (YPRT), a network of up to 32 partners from all over Europe. The purpose of YPRT is to set up a dialogue between pedagogical experts and technical specialists in the area of youth protection and to develop guidelines to take into account the effects of new technologies and their safe use by children and young people.
