First Undersecretary, Ministry of Education, Egypt

Reda Abouserie is the first undersecretary at Egypt’s Ministry of Education. He is also head of the Educational Psychology Department at Banha Faculty of Education, University of Zagazig, where he also teaches various courses, as well as at the Faculty of Education of Ain Shams University.

Previously, Dr. Abouserie has served as: assistant lecturer and lecturer at Banha Faculty of Education, Zagazig University (1983- 90); lecturer at the Education Department, College of Cardiff, University of Wales (1990-97); and associate professor at Banha Faculty of Education, Zagazig University (1997-99).

Dr. Abouserie is a member of both the British Psychological Society and the Egyptian Society for Psychological Studies, and has been secretary-general of the latter since 1998. He has written numerous books and papers and been invited to contribute at various conferences in his field.
